Erasure to NIST 800-88
NIST Special Publication 800-88 covers secure and verifiable destruction of data, on both physical media (hard drives, SSDs, USB, mobile phones) and logical media. The standard describes how data should be cleared, purged or destroyed so it cannot be recovered. Once data has been erased to that standard, no one can bring it back.

Handling to ISO 27001 and 27701
We deliberately separate the erasure itself from how we handle data. ISO 27001 covers information security in general, while ISO 27701 covers data protection and privacy (GDPR-oriented). Together they ensure your data is handled securely and by the rules, without you lifting a finger.
