Meet Line
Line is one of the driving forces behind EasyRecycle's marketing, where she has helped build and grow the company's digital presence from scratch.
She thrives on freedom with responsibility, loves digging into data, and has a soft spot for ideas that are both offbeat and strategic. And her colleagues – her "second family" – mean at least as much to her as the work itself. When she is not at the office, you will often find her in her running shoes, behind a camera, or in the middle of family life.
How long have you been part of EasyRecycle?
I started in September 2019 as a digital commerce apprentice in customer service and the shop. After my apprenticeship I was taken on permanently and created my own role as marketing manager, since it was a branch the company did not have. So I started it from scratch and have grown it across the different platforms. I have been with the company for 5.5 years at the time of writing.
What is the best thing about working at EasyRecycle?
I get to run with my creative (and sometimes slightly mad) ideas, with freedom and responsibility. Building things from scratch and watching them develop is such a good feeling – and I l.o.v.e data! My colleagues are my second family, so that counts for a great deal when it comes to enjoying work.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I am something of a training and running nut. I also have my own little side business photographing families, children, animals and life's big occasions like confirmations and weddings. And of course I spend most of my free time with my family.
Which project has been the most satisfying to work on?
Building all the company's social media and Google Ads up from nothing. Seeing the difference it made once I came on full time as marketing manager, compared to before.
Why do you think customers should choose EasyRecycle?
Because we are personal and completely down to earth. We bring ourselves into it all the way, and we always want the best for our customers. Communication and good relationships matter enormously to us. And we simply have skilled, capable people who care about what they do, which benefits both the customer and the environment. Our solutions are in-house, so we always have full control over every step with the equipment we collect.
