How long have you been a part of EasyRecycle?
I have been employed here for two years now. Before I landed at EasyRep, I was a floor seller somewhere else, but that didn’t quite feel right. So one lovely day I found out that EasyRep was looking for someone in sales and order management. I thought, "Why not?" and applied for the job. Luckily, I got my foot in the door right away, and shortly after, I was up and running. After half a year, we agreed that I should start the training as a sales assistant, now that I was in the store every single day. When I had been an apprentice for about a year and a half, they asked me if I would finish my apprenticeship with EasyRecycle's business team. That sounded exciting, so I said yes, and now this is where I spend my daily routine.
What is the best thing about working at EasyRecycle?
One day you can sit for eight hours in the office, and then the next day we're all over Denmark for meetings. I really appreciate the variation in the workday; it keeps you on your toes, you know.
Furthermore, there is the freedom under responsibility we have here – there is a goal in sight, and we have to reach it one way or another. And there’s that absolutely fantastic dynamic and close-knit teamwork across the departments in the building, which makes everything both entertaining and never too stiff or formal.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In my free time, I enjoy good company with my small family, which consists of my fiancée, our little girl who is one and a half years old, and our lovely staffy, Molly. We love being outdoors, and we often cycle around, with the little one sitting in the box on our cargo bike. She almost always thinks that’s fun.. 😁 When we have the chance for childcare, my wife and I like to go out and try different gastronomic experiences, and of course, good wine is a must. Additionally, I really enjoy spending time in the FFK Hall, where I am part of a volunteer team that takes care of the operations, maintenance, and events that take place there. It’s such a nice break from everyday life 😉
Which project has been the most satisfying to work on?
Project or not, I can’t really say, but I think it’s incredibly cool to work on converting and convincing the locals who come into the store that they can safely trust and buy used electronics instead of new. It's truly rewarding when they come back and tell how happy they are that they listened and got a good product home – and at the same time saved a good bit of money 😉
Why do you think customers should choose EasyRecycle?
It’s somewhat in the name, isn’t it? 😉
