How long have you been a part of EasyRecycle?
Since 1998, I have been involved with IT equipment. In 2011, I founded the company in collaboration with my brother, Danni, and my father, Svend-Erik. We saw potential in the industry and had a strong passion for circular economy and sustainability. Today, I have a close management collaboration with Danni.
I always try to keep my finger on the pulse and am on the floor every single day. Data deletion has been a part of my everyday life since the beginning, so it is one of my core competencies. I always stay updated within the technical area of the company and ensure we always follow the applicable standards and are "ahead of the game".
The entire chain in the company is important to me, and my interest lies in all departments. All major and minor decisions most often go through me – not always because they have to, but because I have a genuine interest in all areas. My door is always open, and anyone can always seek advice and guidance from me, whether it is personal or professional. I'm happy to lend a hand, whether it’s fixing a device or donning a suit for big important client meetings.
What is the best part about working at EasyRecycle?
The best part about working at EasyRecycle and being self-employed is that you are helping to create the framework for a good, healthy and meaningful workplace, to the delight of many people. The best thing I know is when I can see my employees coming in every day with a smile on their faces and are motivated to make a difference for us, so we grow and develop in the best direction. And it’s incredible what 6 large strawberry tarts can accomplish.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
As little as possible. I enjoy my own company.
In addition, I’m into my training and padel both with family, colleagues, and friends. It can also turn into an evening on the sofa with a big bag of chips and a good movie. A good big red steak with pepper sauce is also always welcome on a Friday/Saturday night.
Which project has been the most satisfying to work on?
The most satisfying project was when EasyRecycle went from thought to action. And the fact that it is a department that is still rapidly developing makes me proud.
Why do you think customers should choose EasyRecycle?
Customers should choose us because we are a good North Jutland company. We have a sharp setup that fits into all types of organizations. We keep our promises, and we are present.
