Meet Lasse
Lasse is a creative force at EasyRecycle, where he moves between design and workplace wellbeing with precision and passion.
After nine years with the company – from technician to graphic designer – he has watched EasyRecycle grow at a remarkable pace. As a health and safety representative he makes sure wellbeing stays in focus. When he is not designing, he geeks out on sport, plays golf and travels the world. And he has both shared a beer with Danish boxer Bokse Brian and been offered shots by Shaka Loveless!
How long have you been part of EasyRecycle?
I have been at EasyRecycle for 9 years. I started as a technician, but today I work as a graphic designer, which is what I trained as. The change over those 9 years has been wild – we have gone from fewer than 15 employees to close to 45. I am also one of two health and safety representatives, and the working environment matters here, because wellbeing on the job is everything.
What is the best thing about working at EasyRecycle?
That one is easy – it is the way we work: freedom with responsibility, and my fantastic colleagues and friends. Being part of a company growing this fast is genuinely something special.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Oh, plenty of things! I am a big sports geek and follow all sorts – golf, tennis, football, Formula 1, handball and so on. I play golf myself too. I enjoy hanging out with the lads, going to the cinema or out for a meal. A good party now and then never hurt anyone either. Travelling and seeing the world is a wonderful way to recharge.
Which project has been the most satisfying to work on?
It is hard to pinpoint one particular project, but being part of the whole growth story is easily the most satisfying.
